Black Halloween Cocktail

1. Witchy Black Cocktail (serves 1)

Apple spice liqueur adds the perfect little splash of sweetness to liven up this cocktail, and makes it ideal for sipping all fall long! Let’s face it, with the pandemic dragging on into the foreseeable future, we’re all feeling a little (or a lot) witchy. Lean into it and take a load off your shoulders when you enjoy this witchy black cocktail – you’ll be so glad you did! Finish it off with sugar on the rim dyed black with food coloring.

  • cup black vodka
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • jigger apple spice liqueur

Combine all ingredients by stirring together. Finish it off with sugar on the rim dyed black with food coloring.

Plan Ahead!

Don’t forget to keep your health in mind when you drink cocktails this Halloween. Fewer Regrets will help you be healthier while drinking by protecting your liver AND helping prevent a hangover.

Apple Cider Mimosa

2. Pomegranate Apple Cider Mimosa (serves 2-4)

This autumn-tasting mimosa is perfect for backyard brunches and just regular Saturday afternoons this October. It’s super simple, with just 3 ingredients, and will quickly take your breakfast or brunch from ho-hum to YUM! Pour one or two out to sip on this October, or simply imbibe it with a smile on Halloween as you enjoy the Blue Moon. Cheers.

  • a quart of apple cider
Spooky Harvest Margarita

  • sugar or salt rim (add green food coloring to make it extra Halloween-y)
Pumpkin Spice White Russian

4. Ghostly White Russian with Pumpkin Spice (serves 2-4)

Everybody loves a White Russian. The combination of the coffee liqueur and vodka, as well as the pumpkin spice, makes this an ideal fall treat that you’re going to add to your rotation every time the leaves start to change. Instead of back-to-school season, you’ll be talking about Ghostly White Russian with Pumpkin Spice Season. Haha! When choosing between half-and-half and heavy cream, the heavy cream is more decadent but also tastier. If you’re rather health-conscious, half-and-half is a safer bet. Don’t skimp on the pumpkin spice, though! It really adds a fun dimension of flavor to this delicious cocktail recipe. You’ll quickly add this Halloween-inspired recipe to your October weekends, and maybe even beyond. You’ll look forward to the next time you have the opportunity to make a Ghostly White Russian with Pumpkin Spice. YUM!

  • 1.5 cup coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua)
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice (or more if you really like pumpkin spice!)
  • a quart of half-and-half or heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup of vodka
